From April 14th to April 27th, Target welcomes old car seats for recycling. This includes various types such as infant seats, convertible seats, car seat bases, harness or booster car

seats, as well as seats that are expired or damaged. Partnering with Waste Management, Target ensures that materials from these car seats are recycled responsibly.

To participate, simply become a member of Target Circle. Then, bring your old car seat to your nearest Target store and drop it off at the designated box near Guest Services. Don't forget to scan the QR code into the Circle app using your cellphone for seamless processing.

As a token of appreciation, Target offers a 20 percent off coupon to anyone who trades in their old car seat. This coupon can be used towards the purchase of a new car seat, car seat base, travel system, stroller, or select baby home gear, including playards, high chairs, swings, rockers, and bouncers. You can enjoy this discount twice for both in-store and online purchases until May 11th.

Since its launch in April 2016, Target's car seat trade-in program has been a huge success, recycling nearly 2.6 million car seats or 39 million pounds of car seat material. To find out more about this year's program and how to get involved, visit Target.com.

With its focus on safety, sustainability, and savings, Target's Car Seat Trade-In Program is certainly worth considering for parents and caregivers looking to upgrade their child's car seat while making a positive impact on the environment. So why wait? Join the movement today!
